Username Meaning

Formally known as TrevgauntletNeu & Trevgauntlet. I changed the name in order to make it simpler and matches the content I make.

Trevgauntlet was named after a stick figure comic I drew in high school. I still have the comics, but they are badly faded due to the age.

TrevgauntletNeu started back in July of 2019, meant to be a new start (since neu means new in German).

The new name Trov//GCM (T//G), my current username, is a blend of the following:
- Trov is short for Trove or Treasure Trove
- // is the symbol for parallel or 2, meaning it's the same person you know
- GCM stands for Gaming, Computing & Media (lost media to be exact)
When abbreviated, it reads as T//G.

Brief history

My name is Will and I grew up in New Jersey. I moved to Pennsylvania when I was a teenager, which started after attending high school. After I graduated, I attended
community college briefly and dropped out. Then, served in the US Navy as an Auxiliaryman (mechanic) for Submarines. I used to be a Repair Parts Petty Officer (RPPO), a collateral duty. Which is how I developed my researching skills. I was the computer nerd for my division.

After serving a number of years, I was honorably discharged. After that, I was hired to be an HVAC technician for a few years and got promoted as an Automation Engineer. I used my military benefits to attend college and earn a degree in Cybersecurity. I plan on getting a better degree once I get some experience in the field.

I have several hobbies like: watching movies, anime, playing video games, tinkering with physical/virtual computers of all kinds, cooking and recently web development. I like learning new things, especially when it involves improving my current skills.

I found Neocities after I got suspended from Twitter. During my suspension, I realized that I needed a central point where I can share my content. Since it's free and I can experiment with various pages, I decided to settle in Neocities.

Quick note: While I appreciate you guys approaching me to help. I feel that this is something I need to do & learn. If I do not learn from my mistakes, how else am I supposed
to improve? Please do not ask me for a commission.
